Hi all,
Today was my trip to the mysterious Pulau Carey. I found this place to be an anglers gem. I have no idea on what the crowd is like over the weekends. If it is very minimal than this is a place you must go to.
A man made industrial green haven if you like. The air is fresh and bits of it remind me of what Ipswich used to be like.
Here’s a commentary from what I saw and snapped

Beach is relatively clean! Nice white sand and apparently the tide is not in yet.

From the beach I tried to enter a supposedly fisherman’s jetty nearby. However the island is a maze to the unfamiliar and you can get lost. So i backtracked to the bridge to find a small treat at the piers there.
This is a friend, they allow fishing in its car park.

I am quite satisfied with today’s reconnaissance and will be scheduling a trip there soon. Most probably with an ace whose familiar with the island. Delve deeper to find the more hidden angling spots.
Hopefully this can take place this weekend.
