Where to fish in Malaysia / Selangor / Puchong Lake: New Angling Possibilities

Puchong being a former tin mining area is littered with bodies of water. These mining pools now serve as aquatic sanctuaries for all sorts of fishes and other forms of water dependent creatures. As part of this week’s cataloguing and reconnaissance report we find out why you should start fishing here in this lake.

What i really liked was that there was a pathway that one can stand and fish from. The place is also relatively neat and tidy.

The walkway also stretches a good distance. This place can be used if you’re an avid runner.

A good bank with very minimal pollution. I am happy to see less waste and I hope that we can improve from here onwards in reducing the waste around the lake.

Clean blue waters that are very clear. I did notice it contained the food fish called “seluang” aplenty.

Previous trees that used to be in its place i presume.

This indicates that these waters can be very deep.

Around these tree branches i did notice quite a number of gulping noises. This usually indicates Toman.

Relatively clean water surface suggests that there is low pollution here

There is an indication that some of the foreign workforce are fishing here. This is proof with the net tied to the tree remnants.

Overall verdict.

This place is easy to park and easy to access. Bring your bait casters or spinners and go all out.

Regards.
